Intensive coordination meetings are being held to prepare for the closing conference, “The Role of Clergy and Digital Creators in Combating Violent Extremism in Fallujah.”

In line with its vision to promote social peace and combat violent extremism, Al-Tayyiba Relief and Development Organization, in collaboration with Mr. Anmar, the head of organizations in the Fallujah District Governorate, organized intensive coordination meetings to prepare for the closing conference of its distinguished project, “The Role of Clerics and Digital Creators in Countering Violent Extremism in Fallujah,” which is being implemented with support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
These coordination meetings came within the framework of strengthening local efforts to combat extremist ideology, disseminate positive messages, and raise community awareness. The project aims to activate the leading role of clergy in confronting extremist ideology through sermons and religious sermons that emphasize the values of tolerance and moderation. It also aims to train digital creators and government media professionals on using internet platforms to disseminate awareness messages that support peace and reject violence.
In this context, Mr. Anmar emphasized the importance of such initiatives in protecting local communities against extremist ideas, noting that Fallujah represents a vital area that must be developed and its tools developed to combat extremist ideology.
