A meeting of the Awareness Forum Subcommittee was held in Baghdad.

The Baghdad Governorate Awareness Forum Subcommittee meeting was held in the station hall, with the attendance of several official bodies and civil society organizations.
The meeting included a presentation of the Awareness Forum project idea and its funding body, as well as a discussion of a plan to organize six forum sessions over the coming period. A preliminary overview of the agenda for these forums was also presented, which aims to foster an environment conducive to political participation, free and fair elections, a free and effective parliament in Iraq, including independent media and access to information.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Independent High Electoral Commission, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, the Iraqi Women’s Network, as well as representatives from the Shams Network (Rusafa-Karkh), Ain and Tammuz.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of intensifying joint efforts and coordination among the relevant parties was emphasized to ensure the success of the forum’s activities and achieve its objectives.
