Leadership doesn’t end with the program—it’s often just the beginning.

Participants in the Women Speak for Peace program continued to build on their experiences by engaging in environmental justice initiatives, contributing to regional advocacy efforts, and participating in broader networks that support gender equality and climate action. Some also helped establish the Middle East and North Africa Women and Gender Network (MENA WGC), expanding their impact beyond local contexts.

These ongoing efforts demonstrate how sustained support and leadership development can lead to long-term engagement, stronger networks, and meaningful contributions to decision-making at both the national and regional levels.
