The Teeba Organization’s activity: “Community Perceptions Regarding Women’s Rights”

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote community dialogue and support women’s issues, Al-Tayyiba Relief Organization, in cooperation with the Women Leaders Institute, organized a focus group session entitled “Community Perceptions of Women’s Rights” on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Women Leaders Institute in the Karrada district of Baghdad.

The session witnessed a distinguished and active participation from a select group of representatives from Iraqi ministries and civil society organizations, along with a number of prominent academics, media figures, and community leaders, which lent significant importance and depth to the discussions.

The session aimed to shed light on the reality of women’s rights in society and to listen to diverse opinions and experiences, contributing to the development of practical visions that support the development of effective initiatives that enhance women’s status and support their rights.

The session featured constructive and interactive discussions, reflecting the participants’ commitment to finding practical solutions to the challenges facing women. They emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between government agencies and civil society organizations to achieve tangible progress on this issue.

At the conclusion of the session, the Taybeh Relief and Development Organization expressed its gratitude to all attendees for their valuable participation, affirming its commitment to continuing to organize such events that contribute to strengthening community dialogue and upholding the principles of justice.
