Conclusion of specialized training in strategic communication, campaign management, and evidence-based messaging

The Al-Teeba Organization for Relief and Development, in collaboration with the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR), concluded a specialized training program titled “Strategic Communication, Campaign Management, and Evidence-Based Messaging.” The three-day training was held from 23–25 June 2026 at the Women Leadership Institute Hall in Baghdad.

The training brought together a distinguished group of civil society organization professionals and civil activists. The program featured interactive sessions covering the fundamentals of strategic communication, methods for designing and managing communication campaigns, and developing impactful evidence-based messages. It also included practical exercises and case studies aimed at strengthening participants’ capacities in planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The organizers emphasized that the program forms part of broader efforts to strengthen national capacities and equip professionals in the civil society and media sectors with modern strategic communication tools. These skills are intended to enhance the effectiveness of community initiatives and campaigns and maximize their impact across a wide range of development issues.

At the conclusion of the training, participants expressed their appreciation for the program’s rich academic and practical content, emphasizing the importance of continuing to organize specialized training programs that address the needs of professionals working in media, communication, and development, while contributing to strengthening their professional capacities and improving institutional performance.
