Workshop on the importance of using media content to combat violent extremism

Al-Teeba Organization for Relief and Sustainable Development conducted a training for digital creators on the importance of using media content to combat violent extremism in Anbar Governorate, Fallujah District, as part of the project “The Role of Religious Figures and Digital Creators in Preventing Extremism.” The training is being implemented with support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and under the #Civil_Society_Fund_Connect initiative.

A number of media professionals from Fallujah District participated in this workshop, which aimed to enhance the role of the media in combating violent extremism. The workshop provided an opportunity to learn about best practices and effective methods in combating violent extremism and to raise awareness about the important role of the media in this issue.
