Attendance of Al-Tayyiba Relief and Development Organization<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the invitation of the Iraqi Women’s Network, in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, a conference was held to launch the “CEDAW Shadow Report,” as part of the project to prepare the shadow report for discussion before the CEDAW Committee in February 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference included a review of the report’s preparation stages and a discussion of the most prominent issues related to women’s rights in Iraq, such as international obligations, national legislation, political participation, and gender-based violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
